I dynoed at around 340RWHP and 280RWTQ. But I am only boosting at 5 psi for some reason! I do have a 5AT tranny too.

I ran a 13.437@104.xx at the drag strip.

13.4? Why is that? Tires not hooking up? Or the boost wan't right at the track? Isn't that slow for that much power? I've ran 13.8 before and i only have 239hp and 234tq. So 100 more hp and 46tq would only give me .4 of a sec on a 1/4? I was wanting to go to the Vortech but, if i only gain .4 on a 1/4 it doesn't seem worth it.

I was running 14.1 with the popcharger, Injen dual, exhaust, test pipes, headers and the Kinetix V4 plenum prior to installing the Vortech. So after the install, I dropped my 1/4 times by .6 sec. For some reason, my kit is ONLY producing 5 psi instead of the 8 psi it is rated at. I have done everything I know to do to it and still cant find the rest of my boost.

If I had it to do over again, I would have gone with the APS single turbo or the Turbonetics single. I am thoroughly disappointed in the performance of the Vortech kit. It is safe for me to say thaT I will NEVER buy another Vortech product again. And their customer service is short of helpful also.

quick question, does anyone know if crawford headers work with the Vortech?

zachcrosen, what tires and what sizes are you running? Do you have an LSD? 340whp is quite a bit more than stock, but maybe a little on the low rhp side and if you don't have enough traction to hook up, your times won't be dramatically better

Dyno sheet scans would be nice to see if anyone has them. Also, don't we have a Vortech member pushing something like 465whp (built bottom end)?

I'm leaning to this more and more since the Stillen S/C looks like it's got more problems than first anticipated. Anyone want to post complaints/praise about your Vortech while you're sharing numbers? Is this the way to go? Thanks.

quick off topic question. ALl the torque numbers seem to be a little low. Will a turbo charger increase the torque greater than a s/c?

See sig..with the 3.33 kit pulley. Planning on 3.12 pulley with walbro and larger injectors.. Not the Tq. output down low of a ST or TT but safe..
