Yeah I was talking about JimRhit. Boost should only scare you when you are on it around a corner. But, even that can be very fun.

 

Oh boost doens't scare me...Jim does....he gets a bit TOO excited for boost. You guys might want to plastic wrap the dash next time he goes for a ride...you might get some Jim manchowder....

 

Nothing is ever guaranteed when you are trying to make 1000 horsepower.Things happen that cannot be forseen.If the parts combination is right,the boost is high enough and the tuning is right, then it should be pretty easy to do with these turbos.

 

On an s2000 motor I was making 405 rwhp at 18 psi of boost with the 60-1 Hi Fi. When I switched to the GT series turbo (GT30/40 turbo) I got faster spool up and 469 rwhp at the same boost level. At 14 psi I was making 420 rwhp.

That being said, I think the manifold design that you guys have is by far the best. Again, nice work.

In talking to Brad this weekend about possible turbo upgrades he did mention that the 60-1 wheels flow EXTREMEly well at less then 15 PSI but for more then 15 PSI he recommended a T series wheel. He will be doing some testing on both my and his car with some 510 cc injectors and a T61 to start. Progession to continue from there possibly as high as a T66.
