Can you install a BOV on a super charger?

Yes. They come standard with the Vortech...Needed to prevent the blower from seeing pressure surges. They are closed when in boost and open off boost venting the outlet pressure of the blower and are referenced to manifold vac..

It wasn't obvious what application you were referring to.The Vortech kit comes with a BOV part #8D204-011.

You can't install just any BOV on a supercharger, it needs to have bypass capabilities. So far the only ones that have been able to work are the Greddy type S and the Vortech supplied one, both equally annoying.

Vortech comes with a Bypass BOV.....open under vacuumm , closed under boost . A regular BOV....closed all the time , until a set boost level is reached

Yea... I guess after many failed attempts to make efficient power w/out tons of annoying noise really burned me..
