Can't speak to SSV with TT, but Speed Dreams just completed installing the SSV on two G35's with Turbonetics ST.

By SSV you are referring to the Kinetix plenum correct? It produced great gains on an APS TT w/ jwt cams. I forgot the exact number but it was 470ish whp tuned by ZCargarage. This is on a stock G35 motor.

From what I have read the SSV gets you like 10rwhp or so. Better off going with the Crawford cast plenum or APS Plenum. You can expect 20rwhp or so gain with either one and a TT kit at the fraction of the cost.

I thought Kinetix Dyno'd the SSV with Forced induction to be worth like 50whp?!

The 10whp claim was for N/A vehicles I believe...

I really would never take manufacturer word for dyno claims, but the SSV LOOKS wicked...

I think the 50rwhp thing is some random huge spike at the end of the dyno.

IMO it was gained from the tune. He dyno at 330whp before the SSV and tune. Most tuned vortechs are putting out anywhere from 370-400whp after tuning.

just get a crawford or aps plenum for half the price and you get the 20whp increase....10-15whp on n/a.

I can't believe how much misinformation is in this thread. I'm not even going to bother....

But you can gain 10whp with the SSV?

IMO the SSV is overpriced. I don't care how nice it looks. I would not pay $800 for a piece that goes under the hood and nets you 10whp if any at all when you can buy a plenum or spacer at more than half the price and the gains are proven. Don't get defensive about your purchase if you like it then that's all that counts. I wouldn't have bought the SSV, but that's just me.

possibly yeah. I can feel a huge gain in power over my crawford plenum.

I feel no need to prove the SSV gains power NA. I know it does. I'm not going to go spend dyno money to make a point

For the money, I would go for the tried and test Crawford Cast plenum. $355 shipped and just as effective as the APS plenum, for a much lower cost. The Kenetixs is nice as well, but $800 is a lot to pay for a plenum, and I would only recommend it for those that want the show effect. It is a damn good looking plenum..I will give them that!

damn guys it feels like i started a war, all i wanted is the input on manifolds with tt, but i think its just going to be a spacer or the crawford , until i see numbers with the svv on a tt 800 sounds like a nice show piece ...i love racing the car not showing it but it would be cool to have a show manifold with race power....well thanks for the input but no fighting haha

The SSV IM does look nice and the numbers aren't bad either.
