You hooked up a wideband gauge and O2 sensor? Sounds like you hooked up the gauge to the stock sensor but hooked it up the heater ground(common) lead. I'm a bit confused please explain how you hooked it up.

this makes absolutely no sense then. where did you tap for power and ground then. it almost looks like you tapped one of the stock(or both) stock sensors for power and ground.

If you hooked it up the way you said you did then it is a system totally independent of the stock system other than the fact it gets power from the battery and ground from the chassis ground. there must be more to this. did you turn up the boost, down, etc?

if you had the stock o2 sensors unplugged for some reason while working on you car, but you turned your key on for some other reason.. this would cause those codes. are you sure they are not there from servicing your car with the key on?

phunk, not sure what you mean by servicing my car with the key on.

theking, i did not tap the stock sensors or anything, ground from 12v power sorce inside the car and ground to chasis, i did get a new supercharger belt put on this weekend and had the car tuned, but im sure that has nothing to do with my codes. i did have a narrow band gauge hooked up for a few weeks, taped into the wire under the MAF. that was taken out today as well. possible a wire hit something and fried the stock 02? thanks

I agree. Clear the codes and something tells me they won't come back.

on a side note, should the car be safe to drive hard with the stock o2 sensors like this ? does this have anything to do with the ss box from my vortech ? or should i take it easy until they are replaced if that is what needs to be done. thanks.

Default Please help me out 2.........

I had a malfunctioned passenger side O2 sensor for 4 months. Today I replaced it with a used O2 Sensor but the SES light is still on after resetting the ECU. I got the same code P0037, "HO2S Bank 1 Sen 2 Heater Circuit Low". Does that mean I fried my O2 sensor fuse? Fried the wiring? Or is it because the used O2 sensor is malfunctioning also?

By the way I have the SAFC-2 and the setting is kinda to the rich-side, could that be too rich? Anyone has any ideas? Please help out, thanks.

The code you get for richness in these cars is something along the lines of O2 sensor high voltage bank _. When I started to tune I made these tables that added alot of duty cycle. I started a little too rich and got these codes.

No please do not lean out your car because of what I said. I was giving an illustration of the codes that you get when you get the car extremely rich. These aren't the codes you or this guy are getting. These O2 sensors read close to 1v rich and close to 0V lean. These are also heated O2 sensors and these codes related to the heat circuit.(FYI-most widebands are not heated and that's why on first startup they take awhile to read anything but stoichor 14.7)

i have this problem but mine is p420 and p430 its a catalytic efficency threshold thats what the obd 2 scanner came up with i had it twice already it always comes back when i drive the car hard. But also when i downshift in manual mode (automatic) it puffs smoke out and then it goes away but doesnt totally disappear i think is the test pipes what do you guys think it is. The car completely stock.

Any suggestions?
