So with the utec do you get to keep the cruise control. I talked to Andrew from hydra and he said that they should have it out around sema.

With the utec I think the stock computer will still control the cam phase. Not sure though.

There is little power to be had for the amount of dyno time it would take to dial this in for power. Go on any of the WRX/STI boards.

well actually cam phasing is a awsome technology that can produce enough number to aid in decent hp if we can harness that though a tuneable ecm then we are golden. this is a big reason why jwt hasnt releaseed their own ecu tune b/c all these chiptuners are doing half *** tunes for peoples cars

this is true on some cars, not on all. On Subaru's, lots of people get rid of the variable cam timing altogether

Think of it as infinitely adjustable cam sprockets on the fly. You want 2 degrees retard at 3500 then 1 until 4500 then 0 at 5500, etc. 03's and 04's have intake cam timing like this. 05's have exhaust as well.

Hello Guys,

I know it has been a while. I am looking for a local FI car who is willing to have a UTEC installed and spend a Day at the shop with us. A free UTEC will be given to this customer. If you have any question please feel free to contact me.

Thanks,

TurboXS

Please correct me if I'm wrong but don't only the 35th Ann. and Track models on the 05's have exhaust cam timing? I have a 2005 Enth. I'm not sure I have it.
