For 2006...everyone gets the 300hp engine, and variable cam timing on intake and exhaust...wooho!

Same boost? different boost? Could you please qualify that statement.

wow those are awesome numbers. Why does this ecu give more hp then the emanage ultimate? I am about to buy one of these two and if those numbers are true I guess I would defently go with this but i was just wondering what they contribute that huge gain in power to. Thanks

You get a ton of power from a better tune. Directly driving the coils and injectors makes it much easier to have a constant af curve and then the time can be devoted to timing for the additional power. Right now most of the EM options have us chasing our tails in reguards to AF. A constant AF curve means consistent power. This is done by driving the injectors via IPW and not a combo of maf scaling/IPW. At least I think these features are functioning, right?

I've talked to a couple of people and they mentioned the Utec being a PITA cause of the knock sensor, apparently its very sensitive and will show knocking even when its not present.. any info?
You can adjust the sensitivity of the knock sensor in the UTEC. So, no, it's not a problem. You just have to learn how to adjust the threshold which is easy to do with one person driving and the other using the laptop. It's the same as tuning any standalone on a car with a nonresonant type knock sensor.

At any rate, here's the dyno plot of the MRC Car. I was forced to stop here since we are out of injectors.

I am on the fence as to whether to wait for it or just use the eManage Ultimate now.

With features like Absolute Timing Control, Active Knock Detection, Map Switching, Rev Limit Control and Extensive Datalogging capabilities make this a must have.
