i am impressed...
just for you guys to know 18000 dhs= 4900 USD
yeah kopo has the upgraded actuator, the boost drops down to about 5 psi by redline with the stock actuator, well, let me correct myself. with the actuator adjusted the way they say to adjust it, boost drops, i now have my actuator as tight as it will go, thats what i had to do to get the boost to hold. i think i either had a bum actuator or the stock one is too weak.

has *ANYONE* reported their ST kit *NOT* drop boost (w/o the actuator adjustment or replacement)?

APS advertised the ST as running ~9psi all the way to redline (as you can see from the attached image, which came directly from their website).
they've now tried snowjobbing everyone who has purchased them with two different explanations. 1) exhaust back pressure is the problem, APS says. TIG takes off his entire exhaust, running with *ZERO* backpressure. result? same boost drop above 4K (obviously TIG, if I mis-speak, please correct me). so....explanation #2 comes out - 'this is a designed-in feature to help keep the motor together'. of course, the problem with that is the boost x rpm graph they pulled off their dyno (see the attachment) which clearly shows a constant boost pressure across the rpm range, and was referenced numerous times before the kits starting being sold as marketing material representative of what was being delivered to customers.
no matter how good their products may/may not be, the blatant lying, patronizing BS, and just plain arrogance of their representatives on the forums is incredible. these a33 clowns need to be evicted, and either more rational folks installed in their place, or do without. their 'contributions' are actually a negative for the community - the disinformation they are posting is confusing the issues and making it HARDER to find solutions. if only they'd just own up and admit something was wrong, and they were working on a solution, everyone i think would be a lot happier...

Hmmm... So what's this I hear about the APS TT hitting full boost at 3000-3200rpms? That looks like 8.5psi @ 4700rpms to me.
I'm not trying to start another argument here but could someone enlighten me on the source of the graph and why it would be showing this?

mistype. I meant ST.
And no, I don't really believe anything that comes from APS dynos. I'd like to see something independent. I really have a hard time believing the above map in comparison to some other results I've seen.

I guess they have the date set wrong on that graph. It sais 10-8-2005.
