There should be no change in idle. What RPM do you have now at idle? What is your vaccum level at idle?

The idle is around 800 rpm, but every 20 or 30 seconds down to 700 or 650 rpm and it turns very unstable, then back to 800.My vacuum before installation was around 20-21 In.Hg, now is around 18.

18-20 is pretty normal. I would do a double check for vaccum leaks.

Is this a continuous problem or periodic?

The installation was only finished yesterday, and the problem is continuous only in idle speed.

It takes a few days for the ecu to adjust to things. Give it a week and then see how it is.

You will need to follow this procedure below to ensure a stable idle quality after the TT install, this info in on the APS website, at the end of the install instructions, hope this helps.

Accelerator Pedal Released Position/Butterfly Valve Closed Position Learning

Ok, Make sure that you check for vaccum leaks and also check the fuel pressure, fuel presure at idle should be appox 3.5 bar.

I have the same problem. Don't know what it is...

It looses some RPM every 5 or so seconds... never dies... but wants to.

It happens to me too although i wouldnt really consider it as a problem as long as it dosnt die. i found out that turning on the air con solves the problem as it raises the idle a little

I had this happen on my car initially during testing for the turbonetics kit. Turbonetics then set the idle to 900 and my car no longer does that. You may want to try that.

It's the blow off valve. Any BOV that vents to the atmosphere will need to be tightened down quite a bit, along w/ performing the idle learning procedure. Mine died every time but after tightening the BOV and a week of driving it's back to normal. Sometimes it will dip way down but then come right back up.

You could also raise the idle...

I haven't messed with the BOV.

Once I get the EU wired in, I'll be able to monitor the MAF, and clamp it if there are any irregularities and LOW RPM. (Fixed my brothers idle issues due to turbo blow by... His MAF is before the turbo... Well it wasn't idle issue... I guess his was a stall issue after closing throttle after boost. )

I have an 05 z.
