How about HKS? HKS supercharge is Carb Cert. and much more reliable than Vortech.
HKS has its own fuel management systems. Plus HKS has been well known for force induction. Stick with HKS, you can't go wrong

first of all the HKS is not carb cert, but the vortech is. How do you come to the conclusion that the HKS is more reliable? I bet you that vortech has sold more kit that HKS and so far to date (from this board) I know of only 2 engine failures with the Vortech. 1 of the failures was due to not enough timing being pulled which was an error by the tuner. IMO the vortech is way better than the HKS for a few reasons.

1. more power for less money
2. compatible with other mods

HKS is Carb Cert.
www.hksusa.com

How can you say vortech is more famous then HKS and selll more force induction kit then HKS? go look at the history of import racing.

i guess you should go check your record.
HKS has been around for years.....and have pretty good reputation.

Anyone one here agree???

1. more power for less money --> yeah just like comparing Brembo vs StopTech....why so many manufactures(ferrari, porche, nissan, mitsu) go w/ Brembo...not stoptech
2. compatible with other mods
-->HKS is not compatible w/ other mods? Who said so?

I didn't say anything about being more famous. I said vortech has sold more kits for the 350z than HKS. HKS is known for their turbo products not s/c. IMO for the money the HKS s/c sucks.

Well since the engine mangement is not tunable then I would say that it is really not compatible with other mods. The system was desinged to be installed on a completely stock 350z.

BTW, where do you see that HKS is carb cert? The only FI kits on the market for a 350z that are carb cert are the stillen and vortech s/c.
