Default turbonetics ST question..

With the Turbonetics ST kit, it seems that average gains are around 360-370 rwhp, running the stock 8 psi. However, I've heard that increasing the boost on this kit is difficult. Just wanna kno how true this is. My plans include forged rods, pistons, studs, etc., so it should be safe to raise the boost to maybe 10 or 12 psi. 360 whp would be nice, but getting over that 400 benchmark is more what Im looking for. I know, I should go with APS TT but I like the looks and price of the T'netics ST kit..

Why is it diffuclt to raise boost? Add a boost contorller either manual or electronic and set the boost you want...At 9 PSI my car made 390 RWHP.

Well the turbo can flow up to 20 PSI but realistically Speed Dreams has run this kit to 14 PSI or so and is making mid 400s RWHP. Turbonetics will have a T series upgrade coming soon for those with built motors who want to run over 15 PSI of boost pressure. The turbo included is efficient to at least that high...
