The shop told Will that they were "understaffed" today due to the hurricane (which was just some rain). So they wont be looking at the car today AT ALL. They told him that they would get to it "First thing in the morning". We'll see what they say tomorrow. Keep you guys updated.

my idle is really close to the 0 .... then sometimes stays right in the middle .... is that normal ?

also how do i tell if im to lean or to rich ? i dont want to WOT until i get the tune ... but the car seems to be running fine ... ive gone to 4k and it feels good .... no gauges yet so i cant tell ...

We had a MAF installed with the Arrow to the Outside rather than to the Throttle Body on a Greddy TT install.. It messed up our day about a year ago.. So you are not alone.. Ha !

normal idle is 6xx, iirc, on an na setup. i don't know if you have to bump up the idle with a vortech.
get and install gauges quick: a/f, boost, egt are the usual ones.

Hey glad to hear that you guys got it running again, You shouldnt need the idle adjusted if you only have a SC you normally only have to do that with cams

... or boost, a/f and fuel pressure. With the fuel solution Vortech uses, a fuel pressure gauge is nice to have IMO, then again, so is EGT.

Well with the Vortech when the idles dips below 600 rpms or so the bearings in the blower make noise like a biatch. An easy fix is to always have your a/c on or to bump up your idle to like 850-900 rpms.

You shouldnt have an idle issue and it should idle around 600rpm . If its jumping around , I would look for a vacuum leak . Some thing on your car still isnt right
