The emangage was tuned prior to the header install, my tuner took fuel out. I don;t recall the exact a/f ratio but i do know that the car was running to rich. I have to get re tuned now that i have headers, but i am holding off till the turbo install now! Then I want to do the technosquare flash, then retune the emanage to that! This will take me pry month and a half.

Which one of thsee headers is the driver's side? If it's the one on the left, then there's no way that coudl fit with the kit. If it's the one on the right, then yeah, I might see it fitting.
My DC Sports headers fit, but rubbed, which was hugely annoying, caused an exhaust leak, and raised my engine bay temps considerably. I swapped them out with my stock manifolds and was glad I did so. In the process of the swap, I lost just under 10whp on the top end, but now the car spools much faster and smoother. Before, I was hitting a full 8.5psi at around 3900rpms. Now, I'm getting full boost closer to 3300rpms. While losing some top end power, I think I gained more power accross the power band.
I'm more interested in learning what kind of gains your friend was able to get with a proper tune via the EU, and also what kind of gains the cams gave him. I eventually at least want to go with some kind of engine management, but I'm not so sure about cams as the install is $$$.
Sometimes I forget that there are a LOT of FI 350z owners out there that have never bothered to visit these forums or arent internet savvy enough to do so. It's a shame, because this kind of info is extremely valuable to others who are looking at the same types of mods. Right now we have a few people here who are going to be installing the EU shortly and there's a lot of us waiting on the results of that to determine what we should do in the long run.

I ended up high-temp coating my stock manifolds and swapping them back in. In the process I header wrapped all of the exhaust and turbo piping, which drastically reduced the underhood temps generated by the turbo. As of now, just from popping the hood and feeling the heat after a hard drive, the turbo side of the engine bay isn't noticably warmer than the opposite side. That leads me to believe the header wrap is doing a great job. In the next few weeks, I'm going to be installing my vented hood, with this it should make any engine bay heat issues nonexistant.
As with many mods, running headers that *fit* with this kit will most likely be a tradeoff. Because of the larger diameter piping you will spool later, but should gain power up top. If you're going for all out power on the top end and you aren't getting any vibration or leaks, then I'd say go for it. But, personally, I'd probably rather be in full boost at 3300rpms as opposed to 4000rpms.

Here is my aps st times. Best I ran was a 12.931 @ 108.7 with a 2.215 60'. Couldnt launch because im using continetal all season tires @ 33 psi. Times all night were in the 13.0xx area with traps between 108-113mph, and 60' being mostly in the high 2.5xx. With better tires and learning how to drive I think I can get into lower 12s, this was my first time ever at the track so I was pleased with the times.

if you can find the kd's in your saize, i would go for them. i think they are marginaly better than the ps2's, but not by much. both have a treadwear in the lower 200's, so look at replacing tires often.
