Default Single Turbo 1/4 Times???

Want to know if anybody knows any 1/4 mile times of a ST Z? Just wondering because I have not seen any out there yet. What type of numbers does a bolt on Turbonetics kit run??

I haven't had the chance to take mine out and run it (just got all the kinks worked out), but folks on this forum have posted mid-upper 12's with the kit.

Best Ive seen for a Turbonetics was 12.6 @ 115. Worst Ive seen for Turbonetics was 13.2 @ 110-really weak trap speed imo. Obviously the driver in a street tired car with so much power will play the biggest role in 1/4 times. I havent seen any APS ST time yet....

Did you look at “post your quarter mile times here?” What did you find?

He said single turbo. Are you sure you aren't referring to a TT?

Have any more info on this guy? Stock block still? Its good to hear somebody's doing it right....11.5 sounds a little low for 400rwhp though, I do believe the 11.9.

Sounds good. Your set-up should be good for low 13's on street tires if you can launch....

No that's not what I meant!! I know they are supposed to make good headers.
I thought you were talking about for a turbo application. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Yes your mods list is great!! I wish we were close by.

No prob, i was talking about the Crawford headers with the turbonetics kit, he just heat wrapped his headers! everything was fine, with stock manifold the numbers are in the mid to high 300 which is so so for a F/I Z! I mean thats a pretty big turbo, it has serious potential.

Hey I had no idea you could do that with headers or stock. I thought the kit would have special manifolds for exhaust to the turbo. So it's different than TT then?
Hmm, learn something new every day.

yes because they Turbo netics turbo is mounted where the stock intake is, so there is clearence for the headers, Just make sure you heat wrap your headers! I am planning to install my kit this month, I cant wait till its done!! I show you pics once i start the process.
