Default Last minute questions with APS ST

Well I've read over the threads and maybe this is a pointless post, but my APS is all hooked up. Bumper is being painted and headlights are on their way back so we are looking at a Thursday fire up. I believe my mechanic and I are going to JapTrix after we turn this thing on for the tuning.

So, any last minute pointers? I know a few issues have been rising with this kit and I want to make sure we nip anything commonly a problem before we fire the thing up.

Also this is a stupid question I can ask Tyler on Monday but might as well ask it here. I imagine it is best to turn on the car, drive to a tuner right away, have it tuned. Not "Break it in" for 1000 miles of easy driving then tune? I'm perfectly happy tuning it right out of the box and then having it retested 1000 miles after it's all broken in for a checkup.... or is that over kill (Is there such a thing in FI?)

Japtrix isn't gonna be tuning cars for a while....from my understanding the dyno isn't even in yet and they need to attend classes to be able and properly tune the unichip.....unless something has changed that I dont know about

The kit doesnt need a "break-in" per se. The stock tune will be perfectly safe for driving around and boosting. Maximum power can be dialed in later. Take your time, and ensure there are no leaks, or other problems...then it get it tuned.

There dyno should be installed in approximately 2 weeks. They won't tune you until they are 100% comfortable with their equipment. Your tune out of the box should be fine and safe for now. Better to wait and be safe. When they are ready I'll start a new thread to let everyone know about it. In the mean time have fun with your new found power. The car is going to be totaly diffrent and alot more fun drive it and enjoy.
