When I get back from afghanistan in Feb, I really want to get the APS TT. Ive wanted FI ever since I got my G 2 years ago. The thing is, by then we'll be really close to the '07 model year, which means the new M3, new AMG C class, and some other nice cars are right on the horizon.

Should I spend $12,000 on a TT I might only drive for a year and that will just decrease my resale value? My gut says go for it, but its definitely not practical. Then again, who buys a sports car because it is practical? Thoughts?

 

If you have any doubts at all then you shouldn't do it.

 

no because i had doubts and i got the aps tt anyways.. and seriously this kit is soo nice it will never make you doubt your choice.. after you drive your new g.. trust me man.. do it

 

But I think you might inevitably spend more than 12 G's. It seems like everybody else that talks about it here does. Clutch, traction, upgraded fuel system, etc., etc.
But I think you deserve to do that for yourself after being "over there" for so long. Thanks!!

 

I would wait for the 07 models, and then make the decision. There is no harm in waiting

 

everyones gonna get the mod bug w/ the 07's anyway . Go for it!
