anyone know why i pulled 313whp on my first tune ?
any ideas i can give the tuner ...

the tuner did a z w/ stillen cb exhaust and a 3.12 pulley ... and it got 359whp ...

i have the stillen cb exhaust and the plenum ... the 3.12 pulley is on the way ... i thought i would see better #s then 313whp .....

i just want to get the most out of my kit ...

Whats ur afr? Give us some info on your tune.

 

i forgot to mention i have the vortech ....

 

AT5 or MT6 ? He may have only tuned your fuel and left the timing at Vortech settings .What PSi are you at ? On a Dynojet..most are getting 350whp with the stock 3.33 pulley

 

Yeah the odd part is, thats my old system! Heres my tune with the stock Vortech pulley.

 

That looks kinda wierd, even I got 376 with the stock pulley.

 

well he said he doesnt mess with the timing because he doesnt know the original timing in the first place .... once i get the pulley .... i might take it some place else ....

i know ill beable to get more .... but im just suprised about to turn out w. my first tune ....

 

AT5 .... he did not do anything to the timing ....

 

Will... DRIVE TO COASTAL DYNO!!! Go now and install the 3.12 pulley there! It's time to deal with a shop that knows what they're doing.

Ive got the stillen cb and 3.12 and got 395. My a/f is 118.-11.0 and im running the stock vortech timing(pulled via rpm).

Did you try Twilight Performance in Opa Locka? I think they are the one's that tuned another members Vortech Z and he got about 373rwhp.

 

i may try them ... i want to go over there and talk to them ... i already talked to them on the phone but i want to check the place out ... i will be happy with 350whp but more is always welcome ....
