A CARB Update for APS TT
Just a quick update on this CARB EO issue for the APS twin turbo system. If things work out the APS TT emission testing should be done by middle of November. Hopefully we APS TT owners, and would be owners will have a definate answer of an CARB EO number (pass) by the end of November. Just some final bureaucratic paper work to do in the anticipated event that APS passes. All the engineering on this new APS twin turbo system is done, so now it's time to put it to the test in ths smog capital of the USA~ Los Angels!
funny, I jusy sent them a note as well 2 days ago.
Peter stated that they sending the new kit plus APS person to cali in 4 weeks in order to install the kit into a newly purchased Z to hand over to the CARB people.
Quesstion remains though, how much will existing aps owners need to re-invest into getting their kits CARB approved.

I'm sure they will have more info for SEMA in less then a month. To bad CARB approval can take a few months. Would be nice if they would release this new version of the kit prior to CARB approval.
I'm assuming that the new kit will not have the upgraded fuel system and have different tuning. Converting could just mean going back to stock fuel system and retuning of the Uni-Chip.

I think you might be referring to their tuner kit which has nothing to do with carb nor will it ever get carb'd

Example: Stillen and Vortech, CARB Approved, stock injectors. JWT, CARB Pending, stock injectors.

I just hope APS and Jim Wolf get their CARB approval soon.

If that all goes well my guess is they have their approval early next year
