The way the FMIC plumbing is run on the APS TT (pasenger side), I'm pretty sure you'd still have to "jigga" the PE radiator and Fans as well, especially on a G.

^^^totally correct...but not everyone is a high roller like you, George! ^^^ I mentioned the PE to Todd, but since he is doing the install himself, he's going to say a some money going with Koyo. Also, the Koyo requires minor mods to fit the 350Z, but lots of mods to fit the G35.

+1, True from what i have seen the koyo radiator doesn't interfear with the greddy intercooler piping. Just have to trim the lower fan shrouds, thats what the shop did with mine. DID you get a FREE tee-shirt!!!!!!

Unfortunately I am not mechanically inclined to work on my own car. I orginally had the koyo, but was quoted $400 for the fabrication so it would fit. That plus the $375 for the koyo would have made it more expensive than the PE.

Good thing both Gman and Todd have Greddy kits, so the piping will not be an issue.

So which version of the Koyo fits the APS TT or do all of them fit?

What would fit the G35 perfectly?

I would suggest the 36mm with the APS kit, to avoid the potential for interference. Some people have installed the 56mm and they claimed they dropped in...others have had some fitment issues.

Nothing fits the G35 perfectly. Well, they fit, but you need to make some brackets for the top rad mounts...easy to do...but not a drop-in affair.

Interesting... why is there a conflict on the 56mm? Some say it fits, some say it doesn't? What's true? Much difference between the 56 and 36?

What is the stock radiator size in milimeters?

There are variances between cars, and also between installations of the various TT kits out there. This is the only way I can explain it. I believe ZIVMAN installed the koyo56mm on his APS TT kit and it fit.

On the dyno, I never saw a massive issue with even the factory OEM cooling capabilities, so I figured that 36mm (nearly twice as thick as stock, would be more than sufficient.

Any competent shop can make any of the rads work with the TT kits. It might just take some creativity, and a little custom work. But to simplify things, we usually suggest the 36mm Koyo. Hope that helps.

Yes, the thicker version Koyo will NOT work with a Vortech. I have a cut to hell fan shroud to prove it. Still didn't work.

Why don`t you try Flex A Lite Low Profile Fans ? am sure they will work with your setup, you just need to make a modification for the lower mounts.
