Anything I need to do? I was told I had to prime them, is this true?

As long as they were installed with cam lube they should be fine until oil pressure comes up.

did you check your valve lash after installation?

if you prelubed them well, it should be ok to just start the engine... but it certainly wouldnt hurt to just prime the engine with oil pressure just to be safe. to do so you can unplug the fuel injector harness on the back of the engine and crank it until the oil pressure light turns off.
