Looking for boost and oil temp gauges both 52mm.
Should I look for electric or mechanical boost gauge?

Either is fine , but I prefer mechancal boost.
I use DEFI-Ds but if money were no object I'd look a the Autometer
Nexus series , very very sweet.

I have the Defi D and I like how they look. If I had the cash at the time, I would have gotten the Defi BF gauges. They are electronic I believe, but they look awesome!

If you want american readings (PSI, F), Defi's and autoMeter Nexus are two of the best quality gauges. Greddy and HKS dont make guages in American readings.

Apex also makes some American gauges, but I havent used them before. Honestly, with the quality and accuracy of Defi gauges, I havent seen the need for anything else.

OT, thanks for looking at my boost line this weekend. It was nice to meet you finally and run the dragon behind you. We will have to do it again. I am trying to get up a run some time in the early spring for us AL guys.

NP, Zack..you are pretty damn fast through the Dragon. I'd be down for a pre-Thanksgiving return to the Dragon, if the weather holds up.

the Nexus cost nearly as much as the Defi BF though...other than that, nice gauges with some neat features

as for boost, it makes zero difference if it is mechanical vs electronic. I tend to prefer electronic as it makes for a cleaner install (no vacuum line to have to run through the passenger compartment)but mechanicals work just fine too

Default Defi BF for 350Z

Defi BF 60mm - haven't found a way to install these easily in my Z.

They don't fit Crawford Nav pod panel.
No pillar mounting that I know of for 2 - 3 gauges.

Defi D series no oil temp gauge.

Any thoughts on Spa Dual Display?

I got them with the module & remote, I think you can get them without the module but you won't be able to set warning points but don't quote me on this...

Any reason you didn't use the e01 for guages?

Yeah, it's b/c it's placed in the middle and with the angle I'm in, it's not that clear to read the screen.

plus I prefer the look better this way too
