Default Is it a good idea

Hi i wanted to tell u my idea and give opinions

I have an 04 AT and want to trade in for this car (http://autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ca...ist=230#vdptop) Its a Procharged 350z. as u can see its in wonderful conditions it also ha s a couple of upgrades. Do u think i should buy or is it risky buying a modified car. The car suppousely was sent all the to chicago on a flay bed to do all mods on chicago z they have all paper work and mods add up to 18k. Tell me ur opinions.

Buying a modified car, especially one with an aftermarket FI system is never a good idea IMHO. You don't know the car's history...and you don't know if anyone who worked on it took any shortcuts or messed anything up. You also don't know how the person who owned it treated it. I know people who get in their car, start it up and drive off like a bat out of hell without even warming it up. No one I know who has ever bought a modified car has had a good experience with it.

I'm just telling you what I've seen. You're free to do whatever you want, I just don't think it's a smart buy.

Buy ZZtop's if it's still for sale. It's been babied and is in like new condition. Check the classified forum. It's a TT Z that looks just like the one in your link.

Find out who did the work and ask them about the car. From looking at the info. provided, It looks to be a HELL of a buy. It is usually good to be cautious and carefull, but it also can be a FOOLISH thing to pass up a true good bargain.
