wow if the HKS sound anything like in that clip then go with the greddy. If it sounds like the vid of the supra you posted then I would go with the HKS. That supra sound sick! pm your email address I have a clip on the greddy types s on my car on a highway run.

that clip you posted of the HKS sounds like a woman taking it up the ****, so if that's what the HKS sounds like, I don't like it.

the HKS is higher pitched than the Greddy Type S. (i've owned both.. the Greddy Type S on my SC'd maxima, and now the HKS onthe TT Z)

attached is an Externally Recorded Sound clip from my Sony MiniDV mounted on my windsheild. please note, there is alot of wind noise. but you can get an idea of what my first and 2nd gear acceleration is like.

sounds a lot better than the whistling sound of the first HKS clip.

sorry about the quality of the vid, but I was driving and filming at the same time. also my window was down, so most of the noise is the wind. you can definately hear my BOV from the cockpit, as you can hear the turbos spooling up.

External video clip of the Z drifting.. minus the tire and exhaust streetch.. you can hear the very crisp chirp of the BOV...

My HKS was a high pitched squeak until I put on the vented hood. The lower pitched whoosh sound was absorbed by the engine compartment. Now it can be heard. And I like.

The HKS is awesome. No Leaking! The sound will change slightly with position also. They have these inserts too if you want to change it. Not sure if someone mentioned it already.

The greddy is more tolerable. the HKS is peircing and high pitched. The greddy has a little more substance to it and I would say is slightly louder. Having heard both on the same car at the same boost level, the greddy would easily be my choice.
