Thanks sounds good. I think that is the exhaust I will go with.

Would the hks hiper or possibly dragger 2 work? I had the hiper for my is300 and loved the deep sound. Since it is a single exhaust will I still need to do some modifcations to fit?

The following exhaust will bolt up and fit fine:

Apexi N1
Apexi WS2
Apexi Exv Ti
Fujitsobo
Tanabe (all)
RSR
Topspeed Pro-N1
Invidia N1
JIC (all)
Amuse R1 Titan
Magnaflow
Blitz Nur
B&B
Power Enterprise

You can buy just an HKS Carbon Ti muffler and have a shop make an exhaust also...

Hello,

Yes, if you purchase the HKS Carbon/Ti muffler's you will need to have custom piping made. I've heard rumors of some companies making these exhausts, using the HKS mufflers, but I'm not sure of who that is, or pricing. As Miaplaya stated, any rear section exhaust, or single (A'Pexi/Jic) will work with no modifications/fabrication.

Are they all the same as far as performance gains? WHich has the meanest sound. I like a deep growl and less rasp.

Of course not all will be the same. You want to look for an exhaust that is as close to 3" as possible. Of course the lighter the better. If you have deep pockets the Amuse R1 Titan is an absolute work of art but at $2699 its pretty damn expensive. Of course it is full titanium. For a good 3" exhaust you can look at the JICs, Apexi N1 Exv Ti, or Apexi N1

how much benefit do you think there would be going to a custom 3.5 or 4" exhaust back from the downpipe as far spoolup? Any ideas on how much louder that would be. I'm thinking about doing this after i get the kit and was curious what you guys thought

Well a good 3" should be fine. 3.5" - 4" would be kind of overkill at this point I think. With a built motor sure it might help.
