Default Oil Catch Can For Turbo's

Does turbocharging mandate the use of an oil catch can? Anyone using a catch can actually draining anything out of them?

I don't have one and I recently pulled my intake manifold off to change the plugs and it was clean as a whistle in there...

yeah i dont have one either and havnt had any problems. from what ive heard they arent really needed but for a $100 i might get one just to be safe.
