Default Turbonetics Kit Shipped Today

I'm getting excited. My TN kit shipped today. I have a 97 Grand national with 1,200 miles on it. Window sitcker still in the window, all the protective overlays are still on, and the plastic seats still have the plastic covers they were shipped with. After putting about 100 miles a year on the car I decided not to drive it anymore and put her in storage. The car stock on 215 ****ty goodyear eagle tires @ Englishtown dragway on a 102 degree day ran 13.69 @108mph. @ the scales it weighed 3860 lbs with me in it. Scares the hell out of people in other cars @ 18 lbs of boost when you get on it.

Now I can have that turbocharged rush again. Love the sound, and feeling when the boost hits.

I'm salivating.

I'm back baby !!! In a big way. Sorry for the silly post.

Thanks to Paul @ Avalon racing who sold it to me for $4300 shipped. Awesome price.

Respect
JET

You have a Grand National that you only put 100 miles on a year

Wow, also congrats on the TN kit... You will be really impressed when you open that big box, and then find all the little boxes

Yeah. I had 2. One I drove around, and raced. Heavily modded. The other I bought to preserve and protect. It is considered to be the last muscle car made (rear wheel drive full body on chasis). The one put away has a rare option... the Astra sunroof. only one of 1200 made. There are a few untitled Grand Nationals out there. But this is one of the lowest mileage around, and the lowest mileage of any Astra sunroof in existance. I haven't driven the car for about 4 years now.

Not looking foward to doing a part inventory.

I think the GN is what put Turbonetics on the map. Some Turbonetics GN's were in the 8's and 9's i nthe 1/4 mile.

That is a sick car. I have a friend with an 87 GN with 30,000 miles on it. He got it the day we graduated high school 1994. Do you have any pictures of the GN? Also have fun with that TN kit. I just purchased one two weeks ago from Avalon for the same deal.
