How much HP will the vortech 3.33 pulley produce?
Hi, I'm in the middle of purchasing the vortech sc for my AT g35 and I was wondering how much hp I might produce once tuned.
I believe stock auto g35 makes somewhere around 330hp at 8psi BUT, my motor isnt completely stock and I am afraid I'll lose a lot of back pressure and probably won't see the whole 8psi.
As of now, the mods are: Alphawerks headers, Kinetix plenium/ HF cat, y pipe, and stock exhaust. Because of these extra free flowing mods, what psi do u think I would see and how much hp with just the 3.33 pulley?
I am looking from around 370-380hp so will I see this or should I just get a smaller pulley (3.12)?
Also, my car has stock internals so what is the MAX amount of hp I should stay in if I want to keep my motor healthy for a long time?

Still dont know why people think a free flowing exhaust is going to hurt them . It will do nothing but help . You may not make as much boost , but you will make more power . On the 3.33 pulley you can make anywhere from 320whp to 380whp depending what dyno you are on and the operator running it
Well.....I know that 400 is very possible.
Sometimes....it is just how the combination of mods works on a particular car.
CPR was telling me before thay started to tune, not to be disapointed if my car made lower numbers....they later changed their mind.
I DON't have true duals.....a plenum(do have a spacer).....headers...or the 3.12 pulley....but it all just worked together.

As said already, when you breathe better, you will run lower boost but better numbers. Its like you will be running more HP per psi of boost. Almost like better efficiency.
FYI, I also have the 5AT but mine is a Z.
3.33 stock - 93.5" belt
3.12 - 93" belt
2.87 - 93" belt
Pretty sure any pulley other than stock will invalidate the warranty
Edited - see below

ouach.. from 3 to 1yr? So if I had the 3.33 pulley for a yr and then changed it to 3.12, will I still have 1 yr after I changed the pulley or would it be from the time I purchase the kit (therefore, no more warrenty)?
My main concern is if I can run the 3.12 pulley with stock injectors, fmu, and ss box safety or will it be best to run the 3.33.

If safety is the main concern the 3.33 with stock internals and Vortech stock hardware is the safest..When going smaller pulleys unless you measure injector duty time and are well below about 80% than you remain safe..The problem is having the capability to measure duty cycle..A number of cars with even smaller pulleys and stock everything seem to be doing O.K. but in the long run or some random event may cause problems..

If something does go wrong while running the fmu, will the fuel pressure gauge be a good way to determine this?
