Default anyone with FI wish they went with a different kit?

wondering if anyone regrets going with their current setup and why or what kit they would go with and why if they could do it all over again?

the only thing i regret about my turbonetics kit, is not getting different rims/tires first. It makes an INCREDIBLE amount of power...but all the power in the world wont help you if you cant get it to the pavement, and our stock tires suck.

Haha oh yeah, though I can work around it until I have the funds for atleast some new tires.

Anyway I can't say I want another Turbo Kit, though if I got a second Z... I would get the Greddy TT (for the price), just because many more folks have the set-up so tons of back round info and Twin Turbo is very cool on it's own.

Oh and that way I can completely ***** the "Greddy" all in my car (using all Greddy products)

If I could do it all over again, I would have just kept driving the POS I had before my G, saved up for 2-3 years and bought a 911 TURBO. I just have a bad taste in my mouth right now with the whole modding thing.

Haha..I think the biggest problem with all F/I Zs are...traction!

If I had enough cash at the time of the purchase...maybe I would of gone GReddy too. But with the amount of money that I have spent, I am VERY happy with the Tnetics ST. No regrets.

Its like if I had enough cash, I would of bought the new NSX over the Z. But am I happy with the Z that I have now? HELLZ YA!

Oh yeah don't get me wrong guys, I love and would not replace my Turbonetics kit unless it is with well another Turbonetics Single Turbo kit... But to have two Z's, one with the Turbonetics single... And the other with the Greddy Twin Turbo... Man to me the best of living in both worlds

Also NSX is friggin sweet, but for me a Toyota Supra would be for me

don't the turbonetics and greddy have somewhat similar power and tq curves though - only real difference being that the greddy is a little more linear and has the capability to go for more power?

on a stock block I'd think they'd feel similar with the greddy feeling a little stronger, but not tons - am i wrong? I'm just going off of dyno curves

You are correct. But the Greddy in its out of box form is capable of SCARY power as shown by Sharif. The turbo in the Turbonetics Stage I kit is good for roughly 570 HP. The Greddy as can be seen is capable of 600+

Everyone is complaining of traction...GET RID OF THE BRIDGESTONES .

Grab yourself some bfg kdw-2's on the rear and have fun. I had VERY little traction issues at 345 rwhp and it is still bearable with 424 now. I couldn't imagine the car now with the potenzas, it would be just aweful.

With all that said, my next mod will still be wheels/tires

I have no regrets with the my purchase...Luckly Money was not the issue, so i had the oppturinity to look into all kits and I found that the Turbonetics was the best bang for the buck, great customer support and power! I have all the power I need... and can get more when ever I need! I am very pleased with how my car runs and is setup. Also the Turbonetics kit has put out the most TQ out of the box, I am all about TQ... I love racing from stops and low gears... this kit offers you all of the torque you need! My projected numbers are around 450rwhp and 450-460 rwtq... will find out in December!!!! Plus the best part of the entire process was RECEVING this HUGE BOX with TURBONETICS written all over it at my door step when I came home from School!!! Put a smile on my face EAR To EAR baby!!!!!

bfg kdw-2's ?

I have Bridgestone...But its the S-03 @ 275/35 19's. I have traction problem...of course the 1st. But also the 2rd gear blasts.

Im looking into the PS2s for my next set.
