Default Turbo XS RFL installed on APS ST.

just installed my new BOV on my APS ST, the Turbo XS RFL! i bought it from bad_monkey for $100.

it sounds freakin awesome. its louder than tha APS one by a long shot but not annoyingly loud, probably because im at a much lower boost than those that you hear that are painfully loud.

and it fits perfectly in the place of the APS one, uses the same silicone coupler so there is no welding on of a flange.

thanks bad_monkey!

if i was more technologically adequate id post some soundclips, ill work on it.

Sweet, so that matched your flange perfectly or did you weld a new flange?

hmm, if it doesnt leak, looks ok, and sounds better to me, i dont care who its made by. it may cost less than an APS bov, but only because they charge too much for their ****.

tig488,
I am glad that it worked out for you.

I think that TurboXS has a good product line and have made BOV's for too long to make an "inferior product". I installed the H-34 in my Procharger setup and I gained about 1/2 lb of boost. I am 100% satisfied with my TurboXS purchase. So, as long as you are satisfied, don't worry about it.

Sounds good, tig.

Which model of valve is the one you have fitted? and what did you use to seal the return to intake line?

Agreed, and it gets me when some folks want to trash on companies/products that have been around for a good while because they were "told" or in this case "read" something somewhere... Believe everything you hear or read

Def. planning on it (hopefully we won't be super busy next week at work that would dictate me to come in on Sunday).... But the plan is to meet up at the Varsity like at 11am I think in Atlanta then rolling from there to Steele...

Car good so you can go?
