Default cleaning out IC?

how do you guys suggest i clean out my intercooler, it looks like the whole thing has been dipped in a huge vat of oil, the upper chamber and all the vents have an oil residue all over. what can i spray in there to breakdown the oil and not harm the core?

Remove it and use dawn or laundry detergant rinse well and dry it out. That will be $1 please....LOL Try that it should get most of it out. Cap off 1 side and shake it around.

go to a car wash and use the pressure gun, iono, umm maybe find a chemical that eats oil, cap off the intercooler at its end fill it up, shake it up, let it sit, then spray the hell out of it with a pressure gun

The best/easiest way I've found to clean out an intercooler is gasoline, slosh it around until clean. Just be sure to let it dry out a day.
