If this stuff is only 85% ethanol what does the other 15% comprise of? And, if it's only 85% you'd have to run a little more of it to get to your desired octane rating ie. 4 gallons would actually only consist of 3.4 gallons of ethanol and .6 gallons of what ever else is in it.
100% Zylene and Toluene can be ran up to a 70:30 mix with a couple ounces of 2 stroke motor oil or Marvels Mystery Oil. This would yield about 100 - 101 when mixed with 93..

Zylene and Toluene and great octane boosters, but not at $8-$9/gallon.
I have checked around online, and never found a cheap reliable source of that stuff. If you have a link, I am all eyes. Once you add up the price of a 2-4 gallons of toluene, all of a sudden, the cost shoots way up, and it becomes a very expensive octane boost. This method I propose, yields 95 octane fuel, at no incremental cost....it's actually a little bit cheaper.
This is great info Sharif, you need to have your guys at CPR do some dyno testing on some cars with this info.
On a side note, anyone know the octane rating of JP8 off the top of your heads.
(Kidding, no flames please, I know it's closer to diesel than gas...)
