Here's the deal with being approved by the CARB...
http://www.350zmotoring.com/forums/s...9&postcount=38

JWT could have done it about twice by now...what takes so long is the within 3-month wait. If the emissions weren't up to standard, they then had to go back and try again (most likely through the tune), then go through the entire process again.

I'm not sure what someone meant by APS passing CARB either, I checked their site and don't see any product they make as being CARB approved.

It seems to me that APS has done more homework before attempting to pass CARB than JWT did, just from looking at time frames. (JWT seemed like they wanted to test for CARB immediately and let everyong know that it will be CARB approved and ended up making them take longer to get it)

Stillen Stage 1 and Stage 2 are, and Vortech claims they are.

No turbo kits are CARB approved as of yet.

Vortech is CARB approved for sure. Forced who works for Vortech posted the cert not long ago...I could search for it but I'm lazy.

It's on Vortech's website (the EO #). However, when Sharif entered that on the CARB site, it wasn't valid.

I'll check again.

Thats not surprising. The CARB databases are updated once an Ice Age....CARB sucks...all that money that they take from the Cali budget and they can't even update their crap on time. I think forced even said it would be months before you could find it in the database but that stickers were avail and in the meantime you could use the CARB sheet I linked to for traffic stops if the need were to arise.

Basically it sucks to be us (living in Calif.) relative to mods on engine performance. Of course that is assuming you are playing by the rules.

Jim Wolf is a fool for not releasing this kit a long time ago. I think this might be the best kit out there but he lost all his business because he's waiting for the CARB EO which was not important to anybody on this board who bought their kit. Hopefully this kit will be released soon.

Wow, that is a high price for a TT kit. People are pushing 600 whp with other tt kits so they arent going to sell this one with power claims. Jim Wolf makes some awesome stuff, but Ive seen the other ones for under 5k.

Miaplaya - hey, I was the guy with the blue stillen sc'd z who met you at mossy a couple weeks ago, you took a pic of my solid fuel line... it think thats what you took a pic of. I used to be on b15sentra.net before I got the Z too.
