Can someone help me understand what the air breather is , where it's located (inlet/outlet) and how it's function is different than the PVC. Thanks..Trying to understand where to hookup an oil catch can. Air breather hose was not connected to Vortech filter and had some oil spraying from the hose.

 

the oil breather hose is on the valve cover on the drivers side on the back near the valve cover, and originally hoocks up to the bottom of the stock intake tube.
