I have the Stillen Stage III and I can run 12.9 pretty consistently in cool weather. If it's warm out then you can expect 13.1-13.3 typically. Also you should expect to have to invest in some better tires because the stock tires will just Slow you down! I have 18x9.5" rims on rear with Nitto 555R's wrapping them (Drag Radials). In the front I put the standard Nitto 555.
The Stillen Kit is by no means the Fastest S/C out there, but I think it may be the safest on a stock motor. Also, don't expect to be able to tune it much either.
Hope that gives you an idea.

Plus, just ignore the guy who posted to you up top, he is probably just having a bad day.

To run a 12.9 - 13.2 is that just with the s/c or is that other mods with it?

That's with tons of silly prep that you wouldn't need with turbo or centrifigual SC. Ask anyone with a roots type SC in their car including Grand Prix GTP and Cobras. Heat soak is the biggest issue with these inefficient things.

No problems with my Stillen S/C, but heat can be an issue or so I hear. The times I mentioned are with no other mods except tires and rims.
As for the APS TT, it is definitly gonna give you much more whp, but at a much greater cost and it is not near as "plug and play" as the Stillen S/C. I have a blast driving my car, but then again, if your cash flow allows it, I would consider the APS TT or ST .

Also, I have no clue why some of the people replying to you are being so childish, but I would just ignore stupidity such as that.

Is engine getting hot? overheating? What do you mean getting hot? Is the s/c getting hot and if so is there just a loss of power or is it going to damage something?

Default stillen and heat issues

The STILLEN blower produces some heat over continuous runs A.K.A HEATSOAK.I ran my 03 Auto w/Stg.3 consistently with low 8's on drag radials of course (1/8 mile). The great thing about the stillen is no issues with bouncing of the rev. in "D" mode like other superchargers and turbos. In normal stop in go traffic I have yet to see any issues with overheating.I push this car hard every day do to it being a daily driver and the tranny holds up perfectly. If you want a plug and play system for an extra hundred ponies it might be for you or not. Its youre decision.

What are your 60ft's and trap speeds? To the maker of this thread a Stillen S/C is just as fast as a Z with bolt-ons properly driven-look at my times for example, thats with a bad launch will go 12's NA with a good launch.....

Im not trying to argue with you, Im just curious as to what your 60ft and trap speeds were. To be honest 12's in a Stillen s/c Z is good compared to some of the other Stillen times Ive seen. And yes I do have just "bolt-ons" many members of this forum know me and have seen my car Im not lying.

Oh I believe your times are real! I watched your video. That is why I said nice bolt-ons. I am just not into the back and forth on whether or not my S/C is or isn't better than a bunch of bolt on's which when totaled up probably cost very near the same as my S/C. But since you asked, my 60's are usually around 1.75 and my slow trap speeds are usually around 107. That is with COLD weather. When it gets hot, I have stopped even going to the track. You have to remember also that I have a 5AT and you have the 6 speed. I am sure my times would be much slower with a 6-speed because I suk at launching with a manual. When only running 5lbs of boost, I typically run 13.3.....

Wow, 1.7 6ft's in a 5AT is impressive. I think you have the fastest 5AT I have heard of. BTW I spent a little under $2000 in performance mods, so I dont think its about the same as a Stillen S/C, but I could never match the sound of that s/c whining, they sound great. Didnt mean to come off wrong man, nice times and set-up.

My car ran 13.8 (once) in stock form so actually I am not very impressed with the Stillen S/C, but it's the route I chose and for now I gotta stick with it. Maybe one day I will build my engine and get the APS TT. That was what I originally wanted, I just couldn't justify the cost at the time. My next two mods are gonna be the NX N-tercooler which is supposed to add close to 50whp on FI cars due to lowering intake temp drastically. I hear you can use Nitrous or CO2 in it and I need cat back dual exhaust.

Alberto,
what do you have for exhaust on your car? Man that thing is LOUD going down the track!

I have one of the loudest exhuast set-ups you can run. Test-pipes and an Injen true dual exhaust.

it cost somewhere around 900 bucks, but looking back on it now, I am almost positive I could have done it myself. The only thing that would be nice is to have a lift in order to get under the car.
