Default Custom Ground Cam Specs

Im considering getting some custom ground cams to suit a TT and would like to know what everyone else who went this path ended up with, ie what intake and exhaust duration, lift and lobe seperation. If your not aware of all these details then whatever you know would be great.

Thanks alot

p.s If you want to keep your specs secret but dont mind tell me please PM me

Sorry mate, how could a custom ground cam be the same as a JWT cam.

Are you saying the few people who I have seen running around with 'custom ground cams' are actually just running JWT copies?

So no one has actually gone down the unique custom ground cam path, ie different to any cam currently offered on the market.

There's one shop that does custom ground turbo cams that I've seen on this board (can't remember their name though). Seems like the greddy turbo cams are vaporware so-to-speak..

I don't know if they are cuz i can't see through their engine blocks *(not sarcastic) but I never seen any lift or duration or anything like that so who knows what they are, know what i mean. At least with the JWT you know what they are and what kind of power.

The shop your thinking of is probably SP Scotts Purformance

the last place I would ask is the boards - tell your intended machinist what you are looking for in terms of power band, what your current and future mods are, and let an expert decide

Exactly, otherwise some of our responses are bias or by a product we like only.

Adam,
I have already receieved some responses from professionals and I also want to see what general variances people on this forum have taken, the kind of results achieved and make my own decision. I wont be taking anything anyone says for law and go out and run those specs. But thanks for worrying.

barthelb,
I feel confident i can sift through the biasd opinions, you have to do it on every other thread.
