Default boost and A/F gauges

Hey guys and gals, Here are todays questions:
1. Seeing how we have 2 exhaust banks, and 2 O2's, how do we get a good read for A/F?? Do we have to use 2 meters? I was looking at the SS Arm-1 and the INNOVATE (w/colored meter and digital read).
2. Has it been determined where the "best" boost reference is? I was thinking the nipple on the front of the intake plenum, however I am also using that vacuum for FCON-S.

well, any and all help, suggestions, comments are appreciated.

Tee off that nipple for the boost signal. As for AFR it depends on the kit. Technically if you have your exhuast gas split in two you need to read AFR from each side to be accurate.

Ya, I can read EGT's...but it's not as accurate as it could be. Well, back to the research and drawing board...maybe just the boost gauge...once the car is dyno'd I guess I'll make a decision on the EGT or the AFR...

thanks MIA, -A.

I have an EGT thermocouple in each primary of my headers. This will allow me to tune to the leanest cylinder. I have a 12 channel EGT gauge, it will monitor my 6 EGTs, oil temp, coolant temp, intake temp before the I/C and after, under hood temp, and intake temp at the throttle body. I hope to get everything wired up soon. I just received my custom thermocouples in the mail, today. More to come.

The gauge is made by MGL Avioncs, it is an aircraft gauge. It is normally square shaped but I carved it into a circle shape, so it fits in a 3 3/8" Autometer gauge holder. Here is a link to the gauge. It is the TC-3 one.

I then had some thermocouples made up, the thermocouples cost around $25 each and the gauge was $275.
