What 1/4 times are you getting?

C5 or C6?
C5 or C6?
Ran 15-17psi of pressure...we played around with it a bit to come to that number....seems to hook up nicely, with no wheel hop. Did a really long burnout....holding the car in place with the foot brake. We disabled the ABS so I could get a pretty decent burnout.
So, thinking of going to the Rock on the 27th? If you do, keep an eye out. I'm pretty sure my dad and I will be out there. Last import event at the rock this season. Hope they prep good.... none of that fwd only prep junk they usually do.

Wow...that's talent...I can't even hit a fast 5-6 shift if I want to...

I bet if I put BriGuy behind the wheel, he would have punch it into the 10's.

Shouldn't your MPH be higher with over 600 RWHP? I'm not tring to say anything bad but I just would like to know.

He's probably not hooking up very well in 1st or 2nd.
Like he said, with a better driver, or some better launches he should easily break into the 10s with traps 130+.

My guess is the car was putting downa around 600whp, as I never dynoed again after fitting the 3 inch HKS mufflers. But you also have to understand, that the law of diminishing returns kicks in. The different between 400 and 500whp is much great than the difference between 500 and 600whp.
My guess is with a better launch out of the hole, I could trap 127-130mph. Cars running 125mph traps are typically in the high 10's.

When I plugged my cars numbers in it spit out 11.6@121mph which is VERY close to what I actually run.

Hey, I dont feel as bad anymore about my numbers.

I was looking at the Dec04 issue of Modified Mag, and they had an article about the Performance Motorsports (street) drag car. This is a street chassis, but designed for drag racing. Weighs about 2800lbs, and is fully speced for dragging. At the time, that car was making 596/599trq, and ran an 11.1@126mph. So I am very close to this setup. If I can get my launch down, I have no doubt the car will run 10's. The performance motorsports car was running drag radials as well.

It's more accurate to have the whole curve, but we'll see what I can come up with on the peak numbers interpolating off my curve...

Nice...looks like I need more practice. I know a 1.7 is doable on drag radials..without enough practice.
