Just got back from a morning cruise, and started some "garage maintenance"....added some water to increase the coolant mix level, and began to think about its importance, and the added heat load the coolant has with water cooled turbos.

Just a couple of maintenance questions for those running this turbo or other water cooled turbos:

-Is there an optimum water/coolant mix?

-Anyone increasing the coolant/water flush cycle?

-Any care tips used?

-Is there a coolant brand that is better than others?

I just used the 50/50 pre-mixed stuff from Auto Zone.

I think I will put mine on an annual coolant flush cycle just for added measure.....
