Default vortech and jethot

ok well I have my vortech kit now and am thinking of getting it jethot coated.

So I'm thinking of taking the blower to a shop that can take it apart, and then take the shell to jethot

Getting the blower coated isn't going to wear down the life faster is it? Or will it?

I'm also thinking of getting all the piping jethot coated as well except the actual intercooler. Is that a good or bad idea? I'm kinda figuring it won't really matter so much, but who knows. Maybe because it's outside the engine bay, the piping will never get all that hot in the first place?

I would think that not coating would be better so some of the heat generated by the blower would be let off before entering the throttle body, instead of trapped inside the tubing, but I'm no expert by any means. It's not like a turbo where you want to keep the heat in...

hmm yeah guess that's true since the blower is the first thing in the intake chain.

I really wish I jethot coated my headers before I put them in (too late now)

My crawford headers are going to be such a pain to take out, jethot, put back in, that I've elected it to not be worth the $1000 worth of labor and jethot coating.
