Well, I had a TT installed (Unichip), dropped my compression to 8.6:1, and installed aggressive cams.

My motor was much different then stock. So, this may fix your problem, it may not. Whats your compression now?

We kept the stock compression at 10.3 because of the centrifical charger...woulda dropped it if i had a turbo setup...so apparently it is the idle learn problem that the ecu is having...guess we'll find out

Any check lights? If so check plug wire locations.

if you artificially hold the idle at ~900-1000 does it still stumble/stall? if not, just reset your idle

edit:
(i had my idle reset to 1000 after my engine build, but then i had a bit of head work and pretty aggressive cams put on along with lowering the compression / lw flywheel, etc...)

Yeah i can hold it there and it would be fine, but as soon as i let go, it stalls after a few seconds...to reset the idle, are you talkin bout the throttle learn process?

How ironic, I just started having the same idle problem while in rush hour traffic! My engine isn't built but I'm running TTs. I've been told by GRD it's probably an IC hose disconnection but I couldn't see anything so I'm having it checked by a local tuner.

it is a very common problem with built motor.
relax, just bring it to any nissan or infiniti dealer and have them raise the idle.should cost less than $100.

Ok we have a new problem, Nissan just called me back and said that there is NO oil pressure at idle and thats why it wont idle. They dont know what would cause that, so now im out of ideas...Should i tell them to just raise the idle? would that fix the problem?

I had my idle raised via Technosquare reflash to 1000 rpms due to cams and head work. If you have low oil pressure at low rpms, that is normal. What is the oli pressure if they hold it at 1K rpms?

i dont know exactly what rpm it is at when they hold it at 1000, they just said that there is pressure when they are on the throttle. Is it possible for the dealer to raise the idle rpm?
