Default Update on APS ST oil leak

Spoke to GRD. They claim if I replace the oil check valve everything should be fine. I'm not so sure and I am still taking the car to JapTrix to look into what they have to say about the situation just to be through. I spoke to them and they said driving the car should not be a problem so long as I am just cruising and as long as I haven't been leaving big puddles of oil every time I stop.

As a precaution I was thinking about adding a quart of oil before I leave. Is this unwise as there is older oil (approx 800 miles on it) in there right now? Also the shop that did the install used Redline 20w50, and I am not sure where to get Redline products. Do they sell it just about anywhere or am I going to need to find a specialized vendor?

I wouldn't put more oil than should be there if anything I would stop for a couple of breaks and check the oil level and add if down and as they said it should be fine unless you are losing so much oil you are leaving a james bond oil streak on the street.

Not sure where to get the redline. PM me the details of your kit like where you bought it and where it got installed.
