Turbo question
Hey guys i'm new to this forum and i just got me a new z. I have been looking around on this site and i saw the one guys forum for new people that talked about reading the forum before doing mods. It was very helpful. But anyways i have a question about what is best forced induction system for a stock motor. I dont want something so powerful that will blow up my motor. Also any other mods that i can add as well. Any information would be helpful. Thanks
get a stillen stage 2 supercharger if you dont worry about dyno #'s and dont care about being the fastest they only down side you will have to use one of the hoods that fit the charger. not alot of power fun to drive and plug and play kit save you alot of problems.
if you really need a turbo go with TN kit single turbo nice numbers good power! other then that you need to research alot if your thinking about throwing on anything. trust me just read!!!

what about the Air Power System single turbo or twin turbo. Are they pretty good and reliable? Should i just stick to single turbo or could i get twins...because i dont know if twins are made for built motors or not.
APS has one of the best and most reliable kits out. It is fully upgradeable if you want to build your motor later on and can be run on a stock motor if desired at a lower boost. I have seen more problems with greddy than aps. If you are not looking to upgrade your motor ever then get a single turbo.
The single turbo kits for the Z's have huge turbo..... Turbonetics 60-1 t4 turbo its HUGE, Can easliy hold up to 550rwhp.
But the Twins do have an upper hand with quckier spool time and can slighlty hold more power. Greddy tt kit can pry hold 650rwhp

I would suggest a single turbocharger kit for your goals.
Your options are the APS single turbo kit and Turbonetics single turbo kit.
I would probably go with the Turbonetics single turbo kit.
Other upgrades you could do are engine management system, exhaust, test pipes, clutch/flywheel, and plenum.
