Default Exhaust for Turbonetics

Which exhaust is recomended fo the Turbonetics.

I would like to keep the stock muffler location and 2 tips. I would like a 3" back to the muffler. Which will give me the best gains with these prerequisites. Some nice tips would be nice as well.

Borla?

Amuse R1 Titan, Apexi N1, JIC SUS, Fujitsobo are all 3" from the y pipe back (what you would use for the Turbonetics kit)

LOL. It was kind of cool to be able to catch you.

I didn't think the NISMO was 3" either but I measured the Y-Pipe opening and in fact it is. However, I do not know how restrictive it is. That muffler may not be all that free flowing. I am going to have my car checked on a dyno without the exhaust this winter so we can compare it and see just how restrictive it is.

MIAPLAYA,

those that you list, they are not DUAL Exhaust. Will it hurt the performance?

just go custom, i got a 3in single pipe with a hks ti muffler. It makes good power, i got dyno's if you need to see, but i made 336@5psi on a borla (not a true dual) with cats, i make 349 now with test pipes and my exhaust at 4.9psi

look at the first run, then match it up with down below 4.9=349

You cant use a true dual exhaust with any of the single turbo kits since there is only a single downpipe coming out...is that what you meant?

you can't use a true dual with the TN ST kit because it has a single downpipe. You can fabricate a reverse Y to adapt to dual exhausts but it will no longer be "true dual."

I just placed my order for T-netics ST for my G35. I was wondering if i should just go back to my stock exhaust or get a reverse Y -pipe for my stillen . Which one puts down better numbers?

Fabbing a reverse for the Stillen would be harder but you would definitely get better gains frrom it..

JIC Magic Spartan DE Type 2 is the exhaust I am having installed right now. If I didn't get a good price on the JIC I would of went with SFR and had there custon 3" Borla XR1 system. Only $800. I guess we will see what kind of power it will make.
