Oh well.

It's really not that much, but I'm human a price increase makes me cringe
i felt like that was one of the good things about this kit with such a great price with good parts but now it is getting near alot of TT and aps kit so it just really opens the door for other options. no doubt there going to sell still but i think they had the single turbo game on lock with this pricing and i dont think they would be loosing much but we all know people get greedy and always want to make a buck and as a consumer we always want a deal. i will be saving now for the aps or greddy kit

My price range was under $5k for the turbo kit because then the supporting mods(guages, clutch, etc.) would take it pretty high but now that this went up, I see sales plumeting. The only thing that took me from APS or a TT was the price. So I don't see myself going FI now. I'll just use that money to help pay the car off and get an STI or something. Keep an eye out for some DEFI BF guages and guage controller I may be selling, won't need them if the price goes that high. And it isn't just a couple hundred. Looks closer to a grand.
You guys may have things a bit wrong. In case you guys didn't know the kit is available now from vendors for aorund $4300. However the current MSRP from Turbonetics for this kit is $5596. They are increasing that to $5995. A difference of $400. Tack that on to current street price and the new cost is $4700. Just cause the MSRP goes up doesn't mean street price is going to be that. One more time:
Current MSRP Vendor Price
$5595 $4300
New MSRP New Vendor Price
$5995 $4700
Current MSRP Vendor Price
$5595 $4300
New MSRP New Vendor Price
$5995 $4700
Add on about $300 and you got the same plus the oil pan, more comprehensive fuel system, watercooled turbo, etc (APS ST). Try to do that with turbonetics. APS oil pan by itself cost 300-400 and eliminates a need for external cooler unless you autocross like crazy (these fins are said to have very good heat dissipation). I greatly appreciate all the help l got from you when I was asking you about the TN kit, so please do not take this personaly, but the only thing that had me chosing the TN over APS kits was a better value, now that they are in same price range, I am going w/APS.

I thought the onld MSP was around $4995 for some reason. $400 is not too much of a difference. I apolagize for assuming otherwise. I should have researched more, but I was basing everything on $4300 and then I saw $5995 and it just forced a response lol.
