Default Winter Car update.

Here is my car update...

Its not the fastest, quickest, sexiest, most powerful... But its mine!

July '05 Buy base 350z (All k is milage)
0k tint windows
0k install RaceLogic TC system
1k All new stereo+custom sub enclosure+rear cam+dvd nav
2k de-badge, S2000 antana
3k Auto-Dim Mirror+brushed pedal set
4k install APS TT kit
7k repalce clutch
7k Quaife installed + AT ring gear/pin. (BTW IT WORKS! No special bolts!)

I'm pretty happy thus far... I have pistons, rods, and an EU sitting round the house still. I think I have settled on the APS exhaust...

This is the fastest car I've ever owned...

Now I just need to find some use for all my "new" car parts laying around! Maybe an art project... heh

spdkils,
From the title of the thread, I thought you were going to tell me you took the Z up skiing or something. How's the clutch holding up and is the Quaife all you hoped for?

Well I'm not sure yet.

The clutch grips pretty hard when it enganges. So it can be tricky on hills. The weight is almost stock, but heavier.

As far as the LSD is concerned... I took it up my hill a few times now... Since I've got some nice corners, all up hill.... (Always spin them loose with the open diff.) It holds on corners a lot better... Not so much in the straights.. Its about the same.

I may have to fine tune my traction control a bit with this new setup... (I can set straight line overrides, etc)

Turns out the only RL dealer in the US is in Portland. Near me...

So I had them install it..

But if I were you.... I would do it yourself. Its no more difficult then installing an EU.

(Injectors, and Crank Angle Sensor)

I am assuming that you are talking about Matrix, correct? I have dealt with them before on a Race Logic system. I had contacted them a while back to see if they had tested it on a 350z yet. If it was them that installed it, let me know... I would like to call them and ask how they think its working out compared to other applications.

It was Matrix...

Mine was there 1st... So the time was a bit overboard. (Of course this is hind sight now that I've messed with the EU, and I'm a lot more familar with the setup.)
