For those that don't know, I had the aps TT kit on a stock block. I had smoking issues on the LHS turbo. Took my car to a shop outside of Chicago to remedy the situation. Motor was pulled to get at the turbos, so I had them build the lower end while they had it pulled and the turbos were sent back to be examined.
specs on my build:
Arias 8.8:1 pistions
Eagle Rods
ARP head/main studs
Spec stage 2+ clutch and lightened flywheel with SS clutch line
Koyo Radiator
APS 2.5" exhaust with labree resonated test pipes
upgraded actuators on the turbos
With the injectors supplied with the APS kit and running the unichip I achieved the following (basically the stock APS kit- only upgrade was the actuators):

****Final Tune was 450 hp and 480 tq*****
Reason for the uncommon results was a lack of fuel in the upper RPMs. Boost peaks at 14 psi at around 4000 rpms and tapers off to 11 psi at redline. The APS 440 cc (aps rated at 500 cc at 4 bar) are maxed out. We attempted a retune with larger injectors - 550 cc (600CC+ at 4 bar), but because the unichip is limited to % up or down for fuel control we were unable to get them to work properly. One needs an EMS with scaling capabilities that the unichip does not have.
This coming yr, I may swap the unichip out for the utec or may wait for the new aps upgraded fuel system and ems. I will see which my shop feels is best suited for my car.
For those wondering what resulted in the smoking...well, let's just say it took more than replacing the seals on the turbos to get it to stop.

1.) I had to get the car back due to the weather
2.) After talking to Tuan, I didn't think the flash was the best option I had especially since APS is coming out with a new EMS and the utec coming out soon.
Didn't seem worth it to send it off to be flashed when an upcoming plug and play solution was on the horizon. Besides, with the power I am at now, especially with the torque, it is way more than is needed.
