I am getting ready for my Turbonetics install hopefully shortly after X-mas and before New Years. I just ordered a JIC Spartan Full Ti 3" single exhaust, still need 3 guages and the oil pan spacer(I shouldnt have to tap the block correct? As the other oil line gets t'd off with the oil pressure sending unit).

I already bought my JWT clutch/FW, guage pod, Nismo front to show off the IC, and I have a Varis air duct waiting for me for X-mas Where do you get the steel wire to secure the turbo heat shield? Home Depot? BTW "nissansource" have any more info on keeping the PS cooler up front?
No you wont have to tap the block with the spacer. Safety wire can be bought from any auto parts store for like $1.25 for a huge roll.

Its a drill that is short so you can fit it up in tight areas ill take a pic of it cost me 29 bucks at kragen. also use zip ties to hold up the dp in place while you work its critical to have it dangleing b/c it will be a ***** if you mount it in place no room to work. ill snap some up close pics for you of the way I did the PS cooler trust me dont reroute it to the side of the car no reason to.

Thank you MIA, sq40 and nissansource, you guys responed fast to my post nissansource what do you need a drill for tight areas for? I thought the only drilling was the fuel pressure regulator hole and you can do that on a work bench? Id appreciate some pics of the PS cooler. I also forgot to add Ill be picking up extra heat wrap as well....Ive been staring at this kit for months its time to finally get it on the car.

Heat wrap is always a good thing to have. If you haven't already you may want to jet hot coat all your piping or just header wrap it now while its off the car. MUCH easier then pulling everything off later. Its not a necessity but it does drop temps and I know you race like nobodies business.

Forgot to ask, does anybody have the Innovate standalone 52mm A/F guage installed into the downpipe where T-netics placed an O2 bung in for you? Does the length of the wire route up to the A-pillar ok? I thought I read a while ago somebody had trouble with that install because the wires werent long enough...

Im gonna try to be the first Turbonetics (that I know of) to go 11's on the slicks. If I can get 115-116mph trap(maybe I can squeeze a mph or two out of it) like Ive seen Laww do here in MD at a so so track, then I have a shot

negative.. the sidedrill is for the oil drain
if you drill the block, now if you use a spacer then you dont need to.
the fp sensor area needs to be retapped for american tread type. this cannot be done on a workbench this has to be done under the car on the block very easy just do it slowly and dont crossthread it

I would install the Invoative somewhere where both banks of the motor meet. it is debatable on the distance from the downpipe you place this but ill be placing mine on the 3in dp

yeah I think 35ounces mentioned that his wideband had to have the wires lengthened to make it there. You may consider my location for my EGT (Where Turbonetics tested AFR) On the feed pipe for the turbo, at the front of the car where the pipe turns and goes up into the turbine inlet there is enough rum to drill and tap for the wideband. However if you are ok lengthening the wires then absolutely the bung Turbonetics added will work just fine.

He means the oil pressure sensor area. Where you add the tee for the oil feed for the turbo. Turbonetics provides you a new tap to re-tap the thread to make sure the tee goes in without issue.

where do you get this jet hot coat stuff? is it a spray?

i was planning on using the heat wraps (in addition to what turbonetics provide) but if it's not too much trouble, i will use the jet hot coat stuff; once i find out what it is

Jet hot coating is done by Jethot at their plant. Its a heat retaining treatment that keeps heat in the pipe. You have to send all your piping to them to get it done.

correction is does reach you just have to get creative you must drill a hole in the floor board of the driver side plae a wire grommet and run wires thru there and then fill the small hole with silicone so no water gets in. ill take pics tonight.

Anybody try running the wirse down through the center console where the shifter assembly is, I know you can see the ground from there if you take off the shift guide plate-maybe squeeze some wires through there....I wouldnt want to drill into my floorboard even if I did weather proof the hole.
