We got the car up and running last night. When you rev the throttle you can really hear the intakes of the turbos sucking in mass quantities of air.First driving impressions is whoa.We lost a psi of boost but the car feels like it has more torque and definitely more top-end at a lower boost level. We will be running the car with just the manifold swap and the lower boost level and then we will turn the boost back up to 8.6 psi and tune it and see the results.I will overlays the results so we can get a clear view of the gains and losses(if any).I am a little afriad to run at 10.6 psi becasue we might hit the 500WHP barrier and I dont think I have enough injectors for that right now but we will see.We are just waiting for a spot on the dyno so it will be today or tomorrow when we have some dyno results.I will post some of the new pictures and some vidoe when we dyno the car.

Turbo Tim,
Hope everything goes smoothly so that the final design can start production soon. This piece is the most beatiful design that i've come across. No valve cover needed for this one. There's nothing to hide and infact it would be a crime to do so. Honestly though, i could not justify buying a unit if it made absolutely no power gains but as long as the results are possitive than you can sign me up as well. I'm one of those people where looks have more influence in reguards to what kinds of vehicle mods i buy for my Z, but performance should not be over looked.
Also, I have a JWT Popcharger and Carbon Fiber Intake Pipe in may Z now and from the looks of it, these parts wont be compatiable. Shed some light on this for me if you will.
Mahalo!

We got on the dyno late afternoon on Friday.Everything was going well and the plenum was making more power then stock way low in the rpm band and then we lost our boost. It looked like we were going to make our peak torque about 300-500 rpms sooner too.So we tried to figure out where the boost leak was but didnt have any luck so we will have to solve the problem and redyno it next week.

Here are some pics of the plenum installed and the associated intercooler piping. We will also be making an aluminum cover that hides all the wiring, timing chain cover,etc........ Now I have the nicest engine bay in a 350Z! LOL.

No, we will have to get a car in here to build our jigs off of.We need to get some undisputed proof from the dyno before we worry about that right now though Hopefully this week we will have a chance to sort out our boost leak and get back on there.
