I just replied to your PM. Honestly, take them off and find your stock ones. I think we discussed this a few times (not me and you but we as in the F/I forum) . The DC Sports MAY fit if you modify the downpipe a bit but in the end you may spool up later and they are not as strong as the stock ones are. Taurran left his on initially and later pulled them off. He spooled up like 300-500 RPMs sooner, and his car had no rattles or vibrations after removing them. Find the stockers and ditch the DCs.

thanks man I will do that but know to find the stockers is going to be a *****.

Do you know if there would be any problem if I just remove the left DC header and replace it with the stock one leaving the right still a DC

Um yes your air flow is going to be drastically different between the two sides of the motor. I can't even begin to think of what consequences would be but its certainly not anything I would try...

Glad you found them, yeah I know its tough but in the end you'll be happy you did. The stock headers are not only stronger but give you a faster spool up then the DCs.

Well you have to modify the down pipe, which is pry 160 bucks worth of fabrication... but you gotta remember that with the headers although lag but more free exhaust flow compared to the restrictive stock headers and all the time spent on taking the dc's out and putting the stock ones back in... your choice but I would just recomend getting your downpipe fabricated plus it is Unique your not like everyone else.

But the DC may not withstand the added heat and pressure of the turbo. I think putting the stock mani on is a good idea.

Yeah, I ended up taking my DC Sports headers out and putting some high temp coated stock manifolds back in. I'm actually hitting boost about 700rpms sooner now. I lost about 8whp on the top end, but having a smoother faster spooling setup is worth it in my opinion. Hopefully after I get my boost controller installed this week, I'll be hitting 8.5 psi at about 2900rpms.

True but getting your headers heat treated or wrapped is very affordable! plus clearence isn't an issue with a moded down pipe, This will always be a topic up for debate, plain and simple for some people it works and some people it doesn't.
