I am putting away some money to buy a s/c, I have been reading some post about how you need a bigger fuel pump when you go s/c. My ? is what fuel pump should I get? How much whould I pay? Is it something I should be able to do in my driveway or should I take it in? Any input would help.

I will probably sell my fuel pump and some other stuff getting replaced when my new motor goes in. So You can always do that if you want a good deal.

The Stillen and Vortech complete kits have been engineered to deliver the correct amount of fuel with the facotry pump. The Walboro is more of a safety and reliability upgrade. Good insurance for $105.

I dont know about the Stillen , but the complete Vortech kit HAS an aux. fuel pump that supplies enough fuel and fuel preasure to run the kit safely . If you want to start upping the boost to max out the blower . THEN a in tank Walbro maybe in order , along with a return fuel system and bigger injectors

After the walbro install do you ditch the Aux pump. I have a procharger. Also can I use someone elses fuel/timing map after I install the greddy emanage? Assuming they have a similar setup.
